All of Kaiser's boat and canoes are finally canvased and hung up in the paint room for the filler to cure.  The bare hull in the shop right now is a second canoe for Benson Gray.  This one is a 1958 , 18ft,  OTCA # 167442.  This canoe is kind of special because in 1961 the Old Town factory used the canoe in its advertising but repainted it red on one side and yellow on the other.  They used the  one canoe for two different advertising pictures.  It was also set up for two lateen sails. Both the bow and stern seats have mast holes built into them.  If anyone has a 1961 Old Town catalog you can see a very young and handsome Benson Gray sailing this canoe on its "Yellow" side!
